RN Supervisor for Assisted Living Facility

$80,000-$85,000 salary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team at Pavillion at Robinson Terrace a leading provider of senior care services in Stamford, New York. RN Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily delivery of nursing services for our residents and ensuring their health and well-being. Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily activities of licensed and unlicensed nursing staff, ensuring quality resident care and compliance with New York State Assisted Living regulations

• Assess residents for changes in condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions

• Communicate significant changes in resident condition to physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team

• Participate in admissions, assessments, re-assessments, and discharge planning

• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacy, therapy providers, hospice, and home health agencies

• Promote resident rights, dignity, and independence

Essential Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with supervisory experience preferred

• Experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, Geriatrics, or Skilled Nursing preferred

Physical and Working Conditions:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist residents as needed

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance when appropriate

• Works in a healthcare environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases

• May work weekends, evenings, holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation
