Insightful Life Care Counseling, LLC is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our team in both full-time and part-time capacities. This role allows for flexible working arrangements, with the option to work remotely while providing vital mental health services to our diverse clientele.

Work Environment

Our counseling center operates primarily in an outpatient setting, fostering a collaborative culture among mental health professionals. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health specialists, all working together to ensure holistic patient care. Flexible scheduling is available, primarily during standard business hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional adjustments based on patient availability and needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to determine patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions with individuals, families, and groups, employing modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Facilitate support groups and psychoeducational sessions that enable clients to explore their mental health challenges while fostering a sense of community and support.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure seamless patient care and appropriate referrals.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support and guidance during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records by utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and legal standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and team meetings, and participating in case consultations.
  • Stay informed on the latest research, treatment modalities, and advancements in mental health therapy to apply current standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The counselors will work with a diverse population ranging from children and adolescents to adults experiencing various mental health conditions. Our scope includes, but is not limited to, depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. The position aims to empower patients through personalized support that recognizes their unique backgrounds, challenges, and strengths.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health conditions, evidence-based interventions, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Proven ability to perform comprehensive assessments, formulate effective treatment plans, and engage clients in the therapeutic process.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.
  • Comfortable and proficient in using electronic health record systems and related technologies.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in outpatient settings or with diverse populations is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead group therapy sessions and facilitate educational workshops.
  • Previous experience with crisis intervention and case management will be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with full-time counselors earning between USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year and part-time counselors earning approximately USD 52,000 per year. Additionally, we offer:
