Located in West Georgia , the company continues to grow and is expanding its estimating team to support increasing demand across commercial and industrial construction projects , particularly in healthcare and higher education .

Due to this growth, we are seeking a Junior Mechanical Estimator / Assistant Estimator

Position Overview

This role will support the estimating department and work closely with a team of three experienced estimators . The position focuses heavily on the takeoff process , assisting in preparing estimates for mechanical construction projects involving HVAC and plumbing systems .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their estimating career within a respected mechanical contractor while gaining exposure to complex commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications

• Assist estimators with bid preparation and estimate development

• Support pricing of materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes

• Organise project documents and bid packages

• Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure accurate and competitive bids

• Participate in internal estimate reviews and project discussions

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of estimating or construction experience preferred

• Exposure to mechanical construction, HVAC, or plumbing systems

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Desire to grow within a mechanical contracting environment
