About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Cardiac Telemetry License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience, Telemetry experience, EPIC charting experience Description: We have a 54-bed Cardiovascular telemetry unit. The unit is split into three wings of 18 beds each. Patients also receive care in the Overflow unit. We prefer applicants with flexible scheduling. Every other weekend is required, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. If any holiday occurs during the assignment period, the applicant may be scheduled to work. Candidates must be fluent in cardiac rhythms, STEMI, post-cardiac surgery, drips, Heparin drips, and stents. All applicants must have experience managing a patient ratio of 6 during the day and 5 at night. Floating may be requested based on the needs of the facility. All units require specialty experience within the last year. Candidates should be prepared for an interview. Individual supervisory references may be required for submission.
