Clinical Research Manager

Job Responsibilities Support patient care delivery for your area as needed. Provide charge/shift leadership duties as appropriate. Act as a liaison within your area and among other departments to promote safe, quality patient care. Coordinate grant and IRB submissions. Work with grants officers and business offices to manage all grant activities, pre-award and post-award. Manage personnel selection, development, motivation, appraisal, and discipline. Ensure job requirements and goals are clear. Delegate responsibilities, establish lines of responsibility and accountability, determine and document qualifications and competence, and provide orientation, in-service training, and continuing education. Define and manage processes and reporting required for federal and private compliance. Update standard operating procedures as needed. Collaborate to capture revenue distribution models for agreements and ensure financials comply with policy. Identify opportunities to improve compliance with agreement obligations, including milestones, reporting, and invoicing. Assess feasibility of implementing new, pilot, or proposed research studies, managing resource allocation and clinical preparation. Liaise between research staff, industry sponsors, IRB, federal, state, and regulatory agencies. Serve as a key resource to research participants and collaborators. Expand knowledge base, attend continuing education, and implement knowledge into the division. Update regulatory knowledge and represent the division on hospital-wide councils. Assist in planning, design, measurement, assessment, and improvement of division services. 10+ direct/indirect reports or enterprise-wide responsibility. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field. 5+ years of work experience in a related discipline. Preferred: ACRP or SOCRA certification or equivalent.
