We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist to establish and lead the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to build a program from the ground up within a well-resourced, state-designated acute care children's hospital serving one of New Jersey's most diverse communities. The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology will provide diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders in children from infancy through young adulthood. As the sole Pediatric Rheumatologist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the program, building referral relationships across the system, and expanding access to this critically underserved specialty in Central New Jersey.

Opportunity Highlights

• Program Leadership: Founding opportunity to establish and grow the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology - define clinical protocols, build the team, and shape the program's future
• Scope of Practice: Full spectrum of pediatric autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), juvenile dermatomyositis, vasculitis, Kawasaki disease, periodic fever syndromes, and autoinflammatory diseases
• Collaborative Care: Multidisciplinary partnership with pediatric nephrology, ophthalmology (uveitis monitoring), dermatology, orthopedics, physical therapy, and occupational therapy
• Supportive Environment: Transparent leadership and administration fostering open communication and the open exchange of ideas

Requirements

A Medical degree and the successful completion of ACGME or AOA residency and Fellowship. MD or DO license in the State of New Jersey. Board certification or eligibility from the appropriate specialty or subspecialty board. CDS and DEA license required. Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
