Details Community hospital setting on a 43-bed Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit Care for a variety of patients including cardiac, post-surgical, respiratory, opiate/alcohol withdrawal, and GI cases Common cases include chest pain rule out, post-op recovery (gallbladder, appendectomy, GYN, colectomy), pneumonia, CHF, withdrawal, cellulitis, COVID, and flu Patient ratios of 5-6:1 Uses Cerner CIS for charting 3x12-hour AM shifts, 36 hours per week No on-call responsibilities Requirements Active MA RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications 2 years of Med/Surg Tele nursing experience preferred Additional Information Provide direct nursing care across a diverse med/surg/tele patient population in a community hospital environment American Traveler Job ID P-749848.
