Work Today, Get Paid Today!Job Function: Provides and directs Physical Therapy services to residents, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under physicians' orders.Responsibilities Include:• Provides Physical Therapy services to residents and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with department procedures.• Conduct screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine the need for intervention/treatment.• Evaluates residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.• Conduct specialized evaluations as indicated.• Adheres to established confidentiality standards.• Implements and conducts treatment as outlined in treatment plan.• Follows management direction.• Performs other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.• Successful completion of National Certification Examination for Registered Physical Therapist.• Current state licensure or license eligible.• 0-3 years of long-term care experience.Background Screening Requirement: This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.If you are passionate about patient care and a rewarding work environment, Don't Hesitate- Apply Today!Avante provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, Veterans' status, national origin, gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, gender, genetic information or any other category protected by law.
