Job Title: RN - Rehab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in rehabilitation or medical-surgical nursing License: Current Registered Nurse licensure Certifications: BLS preferred Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of current acute care experience as a rehabilitation or medical-surgical RN - IV and blood draw skills Description: This position is for a travel Registered Nurse specializing in rehabilitation. The facility features a 42-bed unit with a strong, engaged, and team-oriented staff. Patient ratios are 6:1, with 3-5 RNs and 2 PCTs on the night shift. The unit offers a flexible schedule, a mix of experienced and new graduate nurses, and consistent tech support. Candidates must be able to float between different campuses. Preferred candidates will have prior experience with the rehabilitation patient population. The role requires compassionate advocacy for patients and a flexible approach to nursing care. Typical procedures performed in this unit include wound care and patient transfers.
