Assistant to Family Discipleship & Global Outreach

Provides administrative support to the Family Discipleship and Global Outreach ministries at Prestonwood Baptist Church (“PBC”).Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to include:Answering and responding to phone calls, emails, and web-based correspondenceScheduling office meetings and appointmentsMaintaining office inventory and suppliesMaintaining the local/global missions and Family Discipleship calendarReceiving and routing incoming and outgoing mailCreating and maintaining historical file retention systemGenerate purchase orders, check requests, and other required financial related items and ensure compliance with PBC policiesRun required ministry and financial related reportsAssist ministry staff in the planning and execution of events, providing outreach, attendance, and announcement informationRespond to inquiries from members, attendees and prospectsCompose informational materials for distributionOther duties as assignedRequirements:Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as a member of PBCIntermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft office softwareExperience with planning or participating in missions helpfulSome college, college degree preferredExcellent planning and organizational skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize workStrong communication skills, both written and oralAbility to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentialityAbility to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 20 pounds without assistance #J-18808-Ljbffr Prestonwood Baptist Church
