Collections Specialist – Customer Solutions
Location: Richardson, TX – On-Site
Pay: $17.00–$18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Employment: Full-Time, Direct Hire

About the Opportunity

We are seeking motivated, goal-driven Collections Specialists to join a growing team in Richardson, TX.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in collections, account resolution, or high-volume customer service who is comfortable speaking with consumers, negotiating payment arrangements, and working toward individual and team performance goals.

The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who can balance excellent customer service with the persistence and professionalism required to successfully resolve past-due accounts.

What You’ll Do

• Make outbound calls to consumers regarding past-due accounts.
• Work with consumers to resolve outstanding balances and bring accounts current.
• Negotiate appropriate payment arrangements based on account circumstances.
• Provide professional, respectful, and solution-focused customer service.
• Accurately document conversations, payment arrangements, and account activity.
• Update customer contact and account information as needed.
• Perform intermediate-level skip tracing using available tools and resources.
• Follow established procedures and maintain compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Manage assigned accounts efficiently while meeting productivity and performance expectations.
• Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to achieve department goals.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous collections experience is strongly preferred .
• Candidates with experience in a high-volume healthcare call center environment may also be considered.
• Strong outbound calling and telephone communication skills.
• Comfortable discussing past-due balances and asking for payment.
• Ability to negotiate payment arrangements professionally and confidently.
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer skills and ability to accurately document account activity while speaking with consumers.
• Ability to work in a goal-oriented, performance-driven environment.
• Skip-tracing experience is a plus.
• Medical insurance account experience is a plus, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

This is a full-time, direct-hire, on-site position in Richardson, TX.
