Carpenter Co. is excited to welcome a hardworking 1st Shift Operator A (Rolls) to our friendly team in Temple, Texas. Starting your day at 7AM, you will play a starring role on our production floor by running a specialized Loop Slitter and Convolute machinery. We are a team that works together to hit our daily goals, and in this role, you will get to use your eye for detail to create high-quality cut foam products that our customers love. 

Position Description:

• Operate Loop Slitter and Convolute machinery
• Prepare foam slab materials
• Conduct quality checks
• Follow prepared production schedule
• Monitor equipment and perform minor maintenance
• Communicate with management
• Verify proper equipment operations

Skills / Requirements

• High School or GED
• Ability to read basic tape measure
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Ability to become forklift certified
• Physical capability to lift and adjust
• Flexibility to work overtime
