Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $1,178 per week

Overview Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Lineville, Alabama. Job Details: 13-week travel assignment, 32 hours per week, shift of 8 hours, ASAP start date. Travel Speech Language Pathologist position with Fusion Medical Staffing. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population. Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practices. Continuously assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain detailed documentation in the electronic medical record. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies, home-based exercises, and safe swallowing practices; provide supportive counseling as required. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language therapy. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice. Required Qualifications Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist; new graduates may apply. Preferred Qualifications Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position. Essential Skills and Abilities Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; proficiency with computer systems. Physical/Mental/Sensory Requirements Physical: ability to remain in a stationary position, move equipment, push/pull, and bend as needed (50–100 lbs). Mental: ability to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and work under varying supervision levels. Sensory: visual acuity for effective communication and documentation.
