A $6 billion real estate investment manager is expanding its Charlotte office is seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to join its Finance & Accounting team. The firm is a leading investor in commercial real estate debt, CMBS, and structured real estate investments across the United States. This is an opportunity to join a high-growth organization where you'll gain broad exposure to corporate accounting, financial reporting, strategic finance initiatives, and complex real estate transactions while working alongside senior leadership. Responsibilitie sAssist with all aspects of management company accountin g, including monthly close, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation .Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive management .Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial planning initiatives .Partner with leadership on strategic finance projects, process improvements, and special initiatives related to the firm's continued growth .Analyze operating expenses and provide meaningful financial insights to support business decision-making .Assist with compensation accounting, allocations, intercompany transactions, and corporate consolidations .Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during annual audits and tax reporting .Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting processes .Participate in finance initiatives related to acquisitions, capital raises, and new business ventures .Collaborate cross-functionally with investment, operations, legal, compliance, and investor relations teams on firm-wide initiatives Qualificatio nsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Financ e.CPA or CPA-track preferre d.3–8+ years of accounting experience within public accounting, private equity, real estate, asset management, investment banking, or financial service s.Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reportin g.Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate large dataset s.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skill s.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with significant visibility to senior managemen t.Why Joi n?Opportunity to join a high-growth $6B alternative investment manag er expanding its Charlotte presenc e.Broad exposure to executive leadership and strategic business initiative s.Diverse responsibilities extending beyond traditional accounting into corporate finance and special project s.Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with significant opportunities for professional growth and advancemen t.Competitive compensation, bonus, and comprehensive benefits packag #J-18808-Ljbffr
