Systems Engineer (Denver, CO)

Must Have Skills 5-7 years of professional experience, ideally in an enterprise environment handling high-volume tickets and incidents Experience as an engineer resolving Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 tickets Strong platform support experience, specifically within Linux Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, or PowerShell) Experience tracking tickets in JIRA and maintaining proper documentation Mentorship and training experience Kubernetes OR strong automation experience (Python, Ansible) Nice to Have Skills Experience working in Cloud Native environments Telecom industry experience Day-to-Day Responsibilities Support critical applications, responding to incidents and resolving Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets Manage, monitor, and optimize Linux servers for high performance and reliability Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes Automate processes using scripting languages (Shell, Python, PowerShell) Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible Maintain system monitoring solutions and analyze logs for performance tuning Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless deployment and operations Provide mentorship and training to team members on DevOps best practices Compensation Hourly Rate Range - $40-$60/ hr Benefits for this role include: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (vacation and holidays) Paid Sick Leave (HFWA-Compliant) – available to all employees, including part-time and temporary staff, for health and safety needs (Cedent provides all legally required benefits under Colorado law, including HFWA‑compliant sick leave.)
