Human Resources InternAJM Packaging Corporation in Taylor, MI is seeking an HR Intern. This is a great opportunity for students interested in a wide range of Human Resources activities for one of Michigan's leading manufacturing companies.Responsibilities & Duties:Support with employee filesShadow department members to assist on various projects and deliverablesLearn about the business by supporting HR professionals and working with operations team membersMaintain both paper and digital employee files, utilizing our HRIS, UKG ProSupport HR team by answering basic questions from employeesCommunicate with other departments, including senior managementAssist with processing of onboarding and off-boarding paperwork. Assist with new hire orientation, learn about federal, state, and plant specific documentsAssist with recruiting new employees, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and extending employment offersProvide general clerical support to HR teamOther duties as assigned by HR ManagerMinimum Requirements:Pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources or related fieldExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to function well in a high-paced, team-oriented manufacturing plantExperience with Microsoft Office SuiteAbout Us:AJM was founded as a manufacturer of paper and plastic products in 1957 by three Detroit area brothers.
