Assistant Manager

***You MUST have open availability to be considered for this position!*** Assistant Managers help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The Assistant Manager plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. Assistant Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As an Assistant Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, friendly, and positive. This is a Bonus-eligible position that requires open availability. Benefits Bonuses are paid to Assistant Managers who help to run their stores effectively and keep COGS and labor percentages within set goal amounts Health, dental and vision options available First in line to be considered for open General Manager positions Free sandwich on days you are working Requirements Ability to work a 40 hours a week DAY SHIFTS AND NIGHT SHIFTS ARE REQUIRED MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY At least 18 years of age Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Must be able to perform, teach and train all aspects of Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper and Delivery Driver positions, as needed Ability to handle fast-paced situations in the store Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision Willing to coach and task-manage employees on store operations Willing to offer opinions and recommendations to the General Manager Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly throughout shifts Ability to stand, bend and reach throughout shifts We slice our all-natural* meats and fresh veggies in-house every day.
