Red River Pharmacy Services is seeking a motivated and dependable Staff Pharmacist to join our growing team in Texarkana. This position is ideal for a pharmacist who is passionate about patient care, clinical excellence, and working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense infusion medications accurately and efficiently
\n
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
\n
• Monitor patient medication therapy and provide clinical recommendations when appropriate
\n
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff regarding infusion treatments and medication management
\n
• Counsel patients and caregivers on medications, administration, and side effects
\n
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
\n
• Participate in pharmacy quality assurance and safety initiatives
\n
• Assist with inventory management and medication ordering
\n
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Active Pharmacist license in Texas (Arkansas license preferred or ability to obtain)
\n
• Infusion pharmacy experience preferred
\n
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
\n
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Long-term care or specialty pharmacy experience is a plus
\n
