We’re hiring skilled MIG Welders to work on custom steel tank fabrication projects using high-quality materials and detailed blueprints. If you enjoy precision welding and having your own dedicated workstation—this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

• Work on custom fabrication projects (not repetitive production work)

• Weld 7-gauge and 10-gauge materials for tank builds

• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate welds

• Work independently at your own welding station

• Maintain clean, consistent welds and high-quality finishes

What We’re Looking For

• Strong MIG welding experience

• Ability to read and work from blueprints

• Experience with steel welding and part fitting

• High attention to detail and pride in quality work

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• AWS Certifications (D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6)

• ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HUNTLEY, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
