Painter - Heavy Equipment/Automotive (4 DAY WORK WEEK)

Watch this video to learn more We are currently looking for an experienced heavy equipment/automotive painter to fill one of our fuel system painter positions. A fuel system painter is responsible for the application of a wide range of industrial liquid coatings which may include one, or three-coat procedures to manufactured products in accordance with specifications indicated by the paint manufacturer or customer. Core tasks, duties, and responsibilities Apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal products and above-ground fuel tanks. Utilize instrumentation to measure painting parameters to ensure compliance with all known specifications. Responsible for the application of industrial coatings in confined spaces. Appropriately rig large objects for the purpose of moving them in the process of applying the industrial coatings. Suggest tools and equipment in order to improve the overall operation and the efficiency of the painting process. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and observe good safety habits. Adhere to all OSHA and Hazmat Procedures with respect to the storage and handling of materials in the area. Responsible for reporting malfunctions of equipment or processing to the Production Manager. Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager. Fuel System Painter Apprentice We are also looking for someone that has limited industrial or automotive painting/prepping experience, has an incredible eye for detail, and is eager to learn.
