PCU RN Qualifications

• Active RN License in Virginia
• At least 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the last 4 years
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current AHA ACLS certification
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test completed within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be necessary depending on facility requirements

Your Responsibilities

As a PCU RN with our organization, you will deliver exceptional patient care in acute-care hospital settings. Your duties may include:

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Tracking cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments

• Adhering to facility infection-control and patient-safety protocols
• Educating patients and families about care and discharge plans
