Key Responsibilities\n

The primary responsibilities of the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, informing effective treatment plans and interventions.

  • Leading therapy sessions for individuals and couples, utilizing techniques rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems theory, and other relevant modalities.

  • Providing ongoing counseling support for issues such as alcohol abuse, conflict resolution among family members, grief and loss, and the adjustment to separation and divorce.
  • \n
  • Collaborating with other mental health professionals and specialists, facilitating referrals when additional resources are required.

  • Documenting patient progress accurately in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies while ensuring confidentiality and ethical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population, addressing a range of issues that affect family dynamics and individual mental health. We serve individuals dealing with stress from job demands, blended families, as well as individuals managing the emotional aftermath of separation or divorce. Our approach is holistic, considering the unique cultural and social contexts of each client.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation, with an active state license.

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

Preferred Experience\n

We welcome candidates with experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly those familiar with telehealth practices. Previous work involving family therapy, conflict resolution, and strategies for managing life transitions will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
