• Shift: 12-hour Night shifts (1900-0730)
• Hours/Week: 36 hours/week
• Employment Type: Contract
• Licenses/Certifications: KS RN or Compact RN License, BLS, ACLS, NIHF
• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent ICU/CCU experience; proficient with CRRT, Bipaps, drawing labs, chest tubes, PICC lines, independent code response, no vascular access team support
• Floating Requirements: Yes, to ICU and all inpatient units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, ED
• Weekend Work: Every other weekend required
• On-Call: None
• Holiday Coverage: July 4th and other holidays per unit needs
• Orientation: 5 days of orientation including Epic EMR training and facility-specific onboarding

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality bedside care for ICU patients
• Monitor critically ill patients, including ventilated and on CRRT
• Respond to emergencies, conduct codes, and manage complex equipment such as chest tubes and PICC lines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
• Follow facility policies, including floating between units and holiday scheduling

What You Need
Required:

• Valid KS RN license or Compact State RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHF certifications
• Minimum 2 years recent ICU/CCU experience
• Proficiency with CRRT, Bipaps, drawing labs, chest tubes, PICC lines
• Ability to respond independently to codes and manage complex patient needs

Preferred:

• Experience with telehealth units and managing ventilated patients
• Ability to work independently and adapt to floating assignments
