Traffic Control Flagger Details:

• Temporary position
• $23.00/hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Monday through Saturday from 06:00am to 05:30pm)

Traffic Direction: Safely stop, slow, and alternate the flow of traffic through and around single-lane closures or hazards using Stop/Slow signs

Zone Setup: Erect and maintain temporary work zone traffic control (TWZTC) including warning signs, traffic cones, barricades, and rumble strips

Team Communication: Coordinate with fellow flaggers using two-way radios to safely control two-way traffic.

Worker Protection: Alert construction crews of any erratic drivers, emergencies, or traffic issues that may compromise their safety on the jobsite

Motorist Assistance: Inform drivers about detour routes and ensure vehicles and pedestrians do not interfere with heavy machinery or active labor zones

Traffic Control Flagger Qualifications:

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours) outdoors in all weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, rain, etc.)

Lift up to 50 lbs.

Situational Awareness: Excellent judgment, quick decision-making, and strong visual, hearing and focus.

Ability to pass drug screen and background checks
