Project Specialist - Payment Integrity

We're hiring a Payment Integrity Project Specialist W2 contract in Grand Rapids, MI. Hybrid role for someone with healthcare claims and project management experience leading complex implementations. Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday-Thursday Must have healthcare claims, project management, SLA experience Plus: payment integrity, CMS, medical coding, clinical editing Leads mid- to large-scale healthcare projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within quality standards. Oversee projects from planning through implementation, manages vendor deliverables, and supports less experienced project managers as needed. Essential Functions Manage multiple complex projects, including plans, budgets, schedules, and execution. Coordinate cross-functional teams and secure resources needed to meet project goals. Oversee vendor activities, issue escalation, service delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction. Partner with departments and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and continuity. Analyze processes and drive continuous improvement while following project management standards. What you will need: Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Preferred Master's Degree or equivalent Required 3 years of relevant experience in the field Preferred 5 years of relevant experience in the field Preferred CRT-Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI Project Management Institute Preferred CRT-Program Management Professional (PgMP) Preferred: Experience in project management role aligned with Project Management Institute (PMI) principles and practices, including leading multiple moderately sized project teams of eight or more members in a matrix organization, supervising resources in a cross-functional environment, and managing projects across multiple technologies and/or business functions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
