About the Role:

WE SUPPORT YOU LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Lincoln Park, NJ. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care and support. Schedule:
Saturdays - flexible hours (11am-3pm)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and assistance to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
• Support clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) to help clients reach personal goals
• Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
• Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation per care guidelines
• Foster independence and self-advocacy skills in the individuals you support
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and complete required DSP training
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
