Driver

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Port Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for both preparing and delivering essential supplies directly to ships docked at the local port.

Your main daily duties will involve accurately pulling, staging, and picking customer orders from the warehouse before loading up your vehicle. Once loaded, you will safely transport cargo to designated port facilities, interact with port staff and vessel crews upon arrival, and offload the products securely. You will also be expected to keep clean delivery logs and perform standard vehicle inspections.

To qualify, candidates must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be comfortable with the physical demands of lifting, loading, and moving heavy items throughout the day. You must also be flexible and comfortable working weekends and overtime as needed to meet ship schedules. A TWIC card and Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not required.

We offer a competitive pay rate, overtime pay, and dependable local routes that get you home daily.

salary: $50,000 - $56,200 per year
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Class A or B driver's license
• Sit-down forklift
• Unloading product off the truck
• Picking your own orders
• Open to weekend work
• Open to overtime / but not guaranteed
• Delivering goods to the port

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 75lbs
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends

Skills

• driver (3 years of experience is required)
• TWIC (3 years of experience is preferred)
• HAZMAT (2 years of experience is preferred)
