CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant, Rehab SupportJoin a dedicated rehabilitation team in a well-established regional facility serving the Southeastern United States. This part-time, variable shift role involves providing essential patient care and supporting nursing staff in a dynamic rehab environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with patient admissions, including orientation to unit routines and equipment.Respond promptly to patient needs, offering direct assistance or communicating with appropriate team members.Support the nursing care plan by performing delegated patient care tasks.Maintain patient safety through proper use of equipment and supplies.Manage and restock supplies to ensure a clean, well-organized patient environment.Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.Engage in ongoing educational and performance improvement activities.Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and efficient patient throughput.Education and CertificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification mandatory.Current registration with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry.BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.Experience and SkillsNo prior experience required; training provided.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Flexibility with work tasks and schedules.Basic computer proficiency.Understanding of age-specific patient care considerations.Physical RequirementsAbility to work variable shifts including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.Capability to assist with patient mobility and positioning.Visual and auditory acuity to monitor patient conditions.Exposure to blood and body fluids with adherence to safety protocols.
