DP World North Americais a growing global contract logistics provider with operations in over 40 countries at 95 separate sites within Automotive and Technology divisions. We operate highly complex and technical 4-walled warehouses for our global clients.We are seeking an experiencedOpenEdge Software Developer with expertise in Progress 4GL to support and enhance our core business applications. This role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise systems built on the OpenEdge platform.This is a fulltime onsite role to be based in Middletown, PA , we offer best in Industry relocation.Key QualificationsDegree or third level qualification in IT or equivalent experience.Knowledge of Unix / Linux Operating System and commands.5 or more years of experience in full development life-cycle, such as: analysis, design, development, testing, code reviews and implementation5 years of SW Development applications experience in using Progress 4GL and/or Progress OpenEdgeWorking knowledge of Progress database, tables and indexesExposure to querying relational databases.Working knowledge of Unix / Linux Operating System and commands.Experience in development of successfully delivering development projects in a commercial environment.Knowledge of REST API is an advantageWorking knowledge of EDI and XML messagingWorking knowledge of Zebra printers / ZPL coding is a plusCompensationDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
