The Sales Associate Cashier plays a vital role within a small sales team, providing excellent customer service and managing sales transactions efficiently. Utilizing a standard POS system, this role involves handling cash, assisting customers, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting inventory and merchandising efforts. Flexibility and punctuality are key, with willingness to work 1-3 long shifts up to 13 hours and meet flexible sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Provide exceptional customer service and assistance
- Process sales through the POS system efficiently
- Manage inventory and support merchandising efforts
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge
- Ability to work long shifts up to 13 hours.
- Arrive on time and prepared to work
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in retail sales
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong cash handling skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities

- Problem-solving capabilities
