Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist in Virginia
• Prior experience in a school-based setting or working with children preferred
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and documentation requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, families, and students
• Flexibility and adaptability to support a varied caseload across different age groups

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Implement therapeutic interventions to promote student participation in learning and daily activities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate OT strategies into the classroom
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
• Provide consultative services and training to school personnel as needed
