Learn more at**Job Description**In this role, you will lead field crews, coordinate project execution, and ensure compliance with company procedures and FRA regulations.You will play a key role in training employees, managing resources, and maintaining high safety and performance standards.If you are a strong leader with track construction experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced, field-based environment, this role may be a great fit.**Schedule:** Full-time; schedule varies based on project and site needs**Compensation:** Starting at $25.00 per hour (based on experience)**Duties*** Lead and direct crews performing track construction and rail yard work* Plan and coordinate materials, equipment, and staffing for projects* Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with FRA rules and company procedures* Oversee daily crew activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety* Train and onboard new employees* Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet timelines* Support cost control and efficient use of resources* Perform additional duties as assigned**Job Requirements*** High school diploma or GED* 5–7 years of experience in railroad track construction* 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred* Strong knowledge of track construction, maintenance, and defect identification* Ability to operate and train others on heavy equipment (backhoe, front-end loader)* Strong communication and leadership skills* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks* Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, and safety standards* Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions* Ability to lift and move equipment (up to ~75 lbs)* Ability to pass a drug screen and background check* Certification required when working on FRA-regulated track (as applicable)**What We Offer (Benefits)** Railserve is committed to being an Employer of Choice, offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package:* Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage* Company-paid employee and dependent life insurance* Company-paid sickness and accident income* 401(k) with company match* Annual safety shoe reimbursement* Prescription safety wear* Holiday pay* Vacation* Marmon employee discount program**Grow With Us**Don’t worry if you don’t meet every qualification.
