Our client is presently seeking a dynamic individual to fill their Controls Systems Engineer position in their Kansas City, MO location.Our client provides comprehensive and dependable automation solutions to natural gas & oil pipeline infrastructures, gas distribution, chemical processing, electric power generation & distribution, food & beverage processing, and various types of manufacturing facilities. Our client's Control System Engineers develop sophisticated industrial automation, plant control, database and data communication applications, using state-of-the-art software.Control Systems Engineer I/II:0-1 years of relevant working experienceDemonstrate basic knowledge in process controls, P&IDs, and instrumentation/control equipmentCollaborate and communicate with team, supervisor, and clientsAbility to articulate concepts and ideas both contextually and visuallyContribute to the design and development for assigned projectsPerform startups, troubleshooting and commissioning support at client locationDemonstrate time management, problem solving, and organizational skills with each assigned projectAbility to take direction from project lead/supervisor to execute work efficientlyControl Systems Engineer III/IV (In addition to above responsibilities):2-3 years of relevant working experienceProvides application/control systems design and development for systems of varying complexityPerform programming and engineering tasks in supportive and leading roles at all stages of projectsActively develops and maintains relationships with new and existing clientsAbility to adapt to new challengesProvide training and mentoring to CSE I/II while also providing guidance and directionQualifications:Displays an interest and passion for workDemonstrates a strong focus on internal/external clientsPromotes teamwork by demonstrating effective communication skills and collaboration with peers, management, and the clientWorks efficiently while producing a level of quality work set by our client and client expectations.Complies with safety requirements by following all safety procedures and reporting/documenting safety incidencesDisplays leadership abilities including honesty, integrity, and professionalism across the business.*All Control System Engineer roles requires the ability to travel between 25-40% both locally and overnight Emissary, its affiliates and its clients, are Equal Opportunity Employers supporting diversity in the workplace.
