Seeking General Surgeon to join multi-specialty provider group in beautiful Nevada County, CA
Dignity Health Medical Group - Sierra Nevada is a multi-specialty medical group in Grass Valley, CA. We are a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation and aligned with Dignity Health, the largest hospital provider in California. We are recruiting a General Surgeon to join our group in Grass Valley, CA, in providing both hospital call coverage and an elective practice.
Highlights:
8-14 call days per month
Typical schedule includes 2 clinic days and 2 OR days per week
Interest in building a program from scratch
Block time at SNMH plus Surgery Center availability
Compensation
Salary Guarantee: $414,000 - $513,000/year plus call pay
Productivity Incentive
Signing Incentive up to $40,000
Relocation incentive up to $20,000
Group-paid medical and dental insurance option (including group contribution to HSA account) or choose a "buy-up" plan.
8 weeks t ime off per year
Company 401k match/contribution of up to 11% of salary
Good schools, affordable real estate, amazing outdoor recreation, easy access to Sacramento, San Francisco, northern CA coast, and Oregon
Job Requirements
A valid and unrestricted California medical license
Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

Dignity Health Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital is a 104-bed not-for-profit hospital located in Grass Valley, California. The hospital has been providing compassionate, quality health care to residents and visitors of western Nevada County since 1958. As an affiliate of the nationally recognized Dignity Health system, we ensure the highest standard of health care to our patients and have access to important regional resources throughout the system, including the Dignity Health Heart & Vascular Institute, the Dignity Health Neurological Institute of Northern California and the Dignity Health Cancer Institute of Greater Sacramento.
