Signal Integrity Field Applications Engineer / Marketing ManagerAustin, TX | $150,000 to $180,000 per year plus 25% bonus targetThis role supports high-speed signal integrity (SI) applications for a manufacturer of high-speed interconnect, connector, and cable assembly solutions serving the consumer electronics, enterprise computing, and high-speed datacom markets. The position serves as the primary technical point of contact for SI discussions with US customers and plays a hybrid role that combines customer-facing engineering support with technical marketing and industry standards participation. Relocation assistance is available.ScheduleFull time, onsite or hybrid based at the Austin, TX location, with regular travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry standards meetings (video and web conferencing also used).Compensation$150,000 to $180,000 base salary per year, plus a 25% bonus target and benefits. Relocation package available.What You'll DoYou will serve as the company's primary interface with US customers on signal integrity technical matters, meeting with customers (onsite, at trade shows, or virtually) to understand their SI requirements, presenting product data, test reports, and simulations, and building test plans and preliminary product specifications that support design wins. You will work closely with the engineering team to optimize existing designs and develop new products, while helping identify future industry requirements for connectors and harnesses related to high frequency, high data rate, and EMI performance.A significant part of the role involves representing the company in electronics industry standards groups such as IEEE, PCI-SIG, VESA, USB-IF, MIPI, and OIF, tracking working group activity, compliance specifications, and emerging standards, and maintaining an internal library of standards documentation. You will also attend trade shows and technical symposiums as a company representative, which may include booth support, attending technical sessions, and monitoring competitor products and strategies.On the technical marketing side, you will build and maintain a library of SI test reports, simulations, white papers, and technical content that sales teams can use, working directly with engineering to keep that material current. You will write technical papers and content showcasing the company's SI performance and may present at industry events. You will also provide SI training to the sales team, giving them a working knowledge of key SI terms and design tradeoffs without requiring deep technical expertise, and you will coordinate with complementary suppliers (wire, FPC, assembly manufacturers) to identify new technology and partnership opportunities.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (confirm with client if a specific degree requirement or substitution policy applies)3 to 5 years of experience in consumer electronics, enterprise computing, or high-speed datacomExperience using ANSYS HFSS or another 3D FEM solverStrong understanding of signal integrity concepts, including S-parameters, jitter, crosstalk, power supply noise, ground bounce, ringing, and reflectionsStrong analytical ability to identify SI issues in high-speed connectors, components, and cable assembliesExperience with high-speed lab equipment, including vector network analyzers, bit error rate testers, and time domain reflectometersExperience with high-speed signals up to 224 GbpsFamiliarity with industry specifications such as IEEE 802.3 and figures of merit such as COMPreferred QualificationsExperience with high-speed signals up to 448 GbpsDirect customer experience in a technical selling environmentKnowledge of CST Microwave Studio, Keysight ADS, or other SI toolsExperience with high-speed PCB designExperience with Python or C# software developmentCompensation and Benefits$150,000 to $180,000 base salary per year25% bonus targetRelocation package availableMedical, dental, and vision coverage401k Paid time off To apply, please submit your resume for consideration.
