Phlebotomist/STAT Processor

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist/STAT Processor in Ridgewood, New Jersey to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. The role involves venipuncture, data entry, and coordinating urgent test processing across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other testing
- Receive, verify, and coordinate STAT specimen processing and transport
- Enter patient information and process billing with accurate data entry
- Maintain patient and specimen logs; provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training from accredited agency preferred
- 6 months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Compensation: $17.75 - $29.78 per hour
