Hydrogen Station Field Technician

About the Role

Join the rapidly growing clean energy industry and help support the operation and reliability of hydrogen refueling stations. We are seeking a hands-on Field Technician with experience in mechanical maintenance, instrumentation & controls, industrial operations, or field service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs at hydrogen fueling stations

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues

• Maintain compressors, pumps, valves, dispensers, storage systems, and related equipment

• Monitor station performance, respond to alarms, and ensure maximum uptime

• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders using CMMS systems

• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance, field service, industrial operations, or related technical experience

• Experience with mechanical equipment, instrumentation, controls, or electrical systems

• Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical manuals

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hydrogen, compressed gas, industrial gas, or alternative-fuel facilities

• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, gas detection systems, and control valves

• Technical degree, trade certification, military technical training, or equivalent
