Billing Specialist

Responsibilities Processing invoices for assigned department managers Preparing client‑required documents Coordinating with assigned project managers to monitor status of receivables including posting of corrections, credit memos and write‑offs Creating and maintaining projects in the accounting software including project billing terms and budgets Creating and maintaining billing tables Maintaining contact and communication with the assigned project managers Running standard reports Maintaining and organizing files Some travel may be needed Requirements Associate's degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, business, or related field At least two (2) years of accounting experience with computerized accounting systems and billing processes Preferred Qualifications Experience with computerized financial accounting systems Financial management knowledge Experience with the engineering, architectural or construction services Deltek Vision software experience Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Benefits Mead & Hunt proudly offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid sick leave, parental leave, a 401(k) plan with a generous company match, life and disability insurance, and an employee assistance program. Salary Salary Range: $25.00 - $34.00 hourly - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as experience, skill set, or location.
