Sr IT Infrastructure Analyst

OverviewResponsible for planning, coordinating, and executing activities related to the Air Methods infrastructure. Focus on systems or network administration, maintenance, updates, performance, planning, documentation, and optimization. Tier 4/expert level troubleshooting and problem solving required, as is a working understanding of connected networks or systems such as servers, storage, datacenter/cloud applications and utilities including Office 365 and VPN technologies, WAN/LAN connectivity, and client environments.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:Provides hands-on expertise in solving advanced technical problems and working with teams to develop long-term strategic plans and scalable solutionsAnalyzes infrastructure technology trends and works with IT leadership to develop infrastructure strategy, solutions, architecture, and delivery processes designed for stability, agility and cost effectivenessOversees and executes technology initiatives to design, build, and maintain, key elements of the firm’s enterprise infrastructure and associated project portfolio, including but not limited to 24x7 data center infrastructure management and evolution, mobility and remote access services, ubiquitous wireless networks, enterprise-scale messaging environments, active directory multi-forest integration, dual-carrier global WAN, software-defined internetworking, and innovative end user computing solutionsRecommends and implements operational and infrastructure changes as well as improvements to tools and processesManages documentation, internal training, and support transition/ongoing improvement for enterprise systems.Other Duties as assignedQualificationsAdditional Job RequirementsRegular scheduled attendanceIndicate the percentage of time spent traveling: 10%Subject to applicable laws and Air Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
