Pay Rate: $24-29/hr
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Truck Driver, based in Modesto, CA. This role works closely with production, yard, and field personnel to ensure accurate deliveries and efficient jobsite coordination.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid CDL Class A license for 2+ years (3+ preferred) and a proven track record of truck driving
- Experience with loading, securing, and unloading materials safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and a commitment to complying with all safety standards
- Ability to operate, inspect, and maintain trucks to ensure roadworthiness
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team
- Previous experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is a plus
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks and trailers in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Deliver prefabricated wall panels, roof trusses, and framing materials to construction jobsites and customer locations.
- Secure and inspect loads before transport to ensure safe delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Verify delivery paperwork and ensure accurate material counts.
- Communicate with dispatch, production staff, customers, and field crews regarding delivery schedules.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle appearance.
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture.
