Senior Accountant (Bilingual Japanese/English) Join a well-established organization looking for a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and month-end close activities. As the Senior Accountant, You'll Be Responsible For: Overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports. Managing consolidated financial reporting and intercompany transactions. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts. Preparing tax filings and coordinating with external tax advisors. Monitoring project costs and maintaining Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules. Assisting with audits, compliance requirements, and process improvements. Providing financial insights and recommendations to management. Our Ideal Senior Accountant Candidate: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Experience with consolidations, intercompany accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software experience. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Fluent in both Japanese and English (written and verbal) required.
