Registered Nurse – Operating Room (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Operating Room setting. This role involves working with a professional team to ensure optimal patient outcomes during surgical procedures.Unit InformationNumber of Beds: 7Staffing: 3 staff members per shiftDay Shift: 1 RN and 2 CSTsNight Shift: No staffing requirementsPatient Ratios: 4 to 5 cases per teamOn Call Requirement: 4 to 5 call days per monthFloating Requirement: Staff may be shared between multiple locations within the regionQualificationsMust Have: Experience as an RN Circulator with the ability to position patients, prep for surgery, and monitor equipment during proceduresPreferred: At least 3 years of experience as a CirculatorExperience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with skills in Ortho, Plastics, and PodiatryTypical Procedures PerformedTotal Joint ProceduresHip ReplacementsTibia and Fibula SurgeriesAnkle and Foot ProceduresPlastic Surgeries including Breast Reductions and Reconstructive ProceduresRobotic Surgical Procedures including XI and DV5 techniquesIdeal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to participate in trauma call as needed. Experience working as part of a cohesive team is essential.Additional InformationAll employees in surgical services possess extensive experience, with team members having been part of the unit for three years or more. This offers a collaborative and knowledgeable environment for all staff members.Work ScheduleThis position requires availability for 6-7 days of work including one weekend per month, with options for either three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts.
