This position offers a unique blend of on-the-road independence and in-pharmacy teamwork! In this role, you will be responsible for both kiosk management and working within our pharmacy operations, including driving from the Pharmacy to our Kiosk locations, refilling inventory and maintaining Pharmacy Kiosk Machines in regionalized areas. You will also be working in the physical Pharmacy location preparing orders for customer shipments.Key job responsibilities include:Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to our remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company provided vehicleRefill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for returnPrepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishmentAssist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacyMaintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulationsWork daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right ordersRun automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medicationsFill exception trays with appropriate medicationTransition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality controlCount and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription itemsPack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxesSort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right timeAid the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packingClean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas within the pharmacy.Package medications for dispensing and for deliveryWork a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal site business hoursPhysical Requirements:During shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 10 hours excluding overtime, flex and part-time shifts may vary):Driving for long periods of time (8+hrs)Standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching and/or stretchingLifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weightManual dexterity of hands and wristsBasic Qualifications:Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license (or equivalent trainee/assistant license) in state of employmentNational Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)High school diploma or equivalent6+ months of working with computer and web based tools experienceValid and active driver's licenseMust be at least 21 years oldAbility to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisorAbility to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labelsClean driving record that passes Amazon's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Checks (to be rechecked annually)Preferred Qualifications:Experience recognizing and identifying patient medicationsExperience working in fast paced environments, and managing workload even during times of stress, or escalated activityDemonstrated organization skills and attention to detailDemonstrated ability to work as an effective team memberAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Los Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include: work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
