Responsibilities:

• Put stock away, label parts, re-label parts, perform inventory transactions, package product for inventory and/or shipment, prepare shipments, as well as pick parts from inventory or staging to be used for production needs
• Pick orders from various sources (inventory, storage, staging, etc.) to meet customer contracted shipment criteria
• Properly package and secure parts for transport to eliminate any potential damage
• Receive, validate, and process incoming parts from outside sources
• Ship, validate, and process outgoing components from outside sources, inventory, or direct from production
• Set up and run belt slitting machine
• Load/unload pallets with a standup forklift and/or pallet jacks from delivery trucks and pallet racks
• Responsible to cross train in all the functional areas of the warehouse including those previously mentioned as well as those deemed necessary by supervisor
• Any other task assigned by supervisor and management

Qualifications:

• Have a valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain a forklift license
• Literacy with ability to both read and write clear, complete forms as required by the position
• Good communication skills
• Organized & thorough
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds in a safe manner
• Meticulous and accurate, detail oriented
• Able to work well under pressure
• Team player - able to positively contribute to the team by working well with co-workers and supervisors
• Able to consistently demonstrate good judgment
• An independent worker when necessary
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Proficient in various computer software, i.e., Microsoft Excel or Word

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possess the background, education, or training (OJT) in clerical/warehouse responsibilities.
• Shipping knowledge
