Competitive salary Sign on bonus Relocation assistance Radiation Oncology Physicists provide medical physics services for patients who are prescribed to receive radiation therapy for cancer and other conditions. They ensure: the safety and quality of care in the use of radiation-producing equipment and sources, oversee radiation safety of patients and staff, calibrate all radiation therapy equipment, conduct routine equipment and software systems performance testing, and implement procedures to ensure quality control of all radiation therapy planning, imaging and delivery. Participation in clinical trials is required. Equipment & Modalities: Varian TrueBeam, Edge, & iX and Tomotherapy CT Simulator Varian Eclipse treatment planning and Aria v16 Special procedures: SRS, SBRT, SGRT, radiopharmaceuticals, HDR brachytherapy Other QA software: MIM, RadFormation, DotDecimal Required Qualifications: Master's Degree Medical Physics, Radiological Physics or related field Board certified in Therapeutic Radiological Physics by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Medical Physics This is LCMC Health.
