Dermatologist – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) Job Type: Independent Practice Opportunity Position Summary: We are seeking dermatologists who wish to establish or transition to an independently‑operated practice with the support of MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and operate their own practice entities while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support. Physicians may establish or transition a practice in a preferred market, subject to state licensure and applicable regulatory requirements. The physician governs clinical operations, decisions, and patient‑care policies; MedCBO does not direct patient care. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO as required. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform implementation. Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a dermatology specialty appropriate to the services offered. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions preventing independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice and varies based on scope, services, payer mix, activity, and local market conditions. Outcomes are not guaranteed.
