This opportunity is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, IA. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Management: Collect, organize and analyze sales data utilizing Market Data sources like NielsenIQ, Numerator and internal data. Identify areas of opportunity in promotions, pricing, placement and product within brick & mortar and e-commerce retailers. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and analyses. Insight Identification and Actions Recommendation: Identify actionable insights from data analysis to support category and brand growth recommendations, and develop presentations for sales and marketing teams. Identify which promotions generate the highest lift, cannibalization and incremental purchases. Utilize regression & correlation analysis to identify areas where pricing & promotion were most efficient. Calculate index analysis to measure fair share & productivity of segments, brands and items in specific retailers. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to translate business insights into actional plans to drive growth and/or efficiencies. Category Management Support: Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to provide insights and recommendations. Develop understanding of the Category Management function and how data integrates within cross-functional internal and external teams. Assist in tracking and reporting on category performance metrics. EDUCATION: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or Business with a focus on Marketing, Business Analytics and/or Economics. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including analyzing and interpreting data Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Passion for Marketing, consumer goods, and business analytics Proficient in Microsoft Office – including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (ie. Tableau, PowerBI).
