Job Description

• Develop Customized Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' unique needs and build individualized therapy plans aimed at achieving their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers in therapy strategies that promote ongoing improvement at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on course toward recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement and support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
