We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Press Operator!Benefits of Working With Us:Competitive compensation including paid time off and holidays.Medical insurance (HDHP with HSA and PPO options)Prescription drug coverageDental and vision insurancePre-tax flexible spending account401(k) retirement savings with employer matchBasic and supplemental life and AD&D insuranceShort-term and long-term disability insurancePre-tax dependent care flexible spending accountWellness program with diabetes prevention, condition care, preventive care, and annual flu shot.Employee Assistance ProgramRequired Experience and Qualifications:6 -9 months relevant experienceAbility to use ordinary arithmetic in decimals and fractions, practice charts, specifications, schedule, variable controls and measuring devicesJudgment is required to plan, perform and make decisions as to set up and sequence of operationsGood attendance and performance recordCore Responsibilities:Load aluminum/steel coils onto vertical payoff using hoist/hook systemManually tighten payoffVisually assist forklift driver to load aluminum/steel coils onto horizontal payoffString up the press, where trained, using job safe practicesWorking from production work orders, form and pack various productsSeal cartons using tapers, banders, hand staplers, foot staplers, and other similar systemsMove finished carton from packing table to a pallet using established lifting methodsWrap pallet with stretch wrap and hand transport to designated area using forkliftResupply work area with a new palletRake the product when running into wire bins or retrieving from wire bins, check quality such as product shape, correct feed length, surface defects and correct UPC label applicationLubricate machine and/or refill lubrication devices as requiredDispose of any scrap as instructedMaintain work area in a safe and orderly conditionFill out all required paperwork and/or enter all time and production information into the computer in a timely and accurate mannerAny other responsibilities deemed necessary by LeadershipPosition Details:Full TimeLocated in: Lancaster, PAShift: 1st 7am - 3pmWe are proud of our commitment to equal employment opportunity for all qualified job candidates and associates and ask that all associates support diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
