About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Construction to lead the future of its infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing executive leadership across all construction operations, including field operations, project management, estimating, and strategic growth. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring the safe, on-schedule, and within-budget delivery of projects. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Construction include overseeing project management, field operations, estimating, and preconstruction teams, as well as developing and executing strategic growth initiatives. The role also involves building and mentoring a culture centered on accountability, safety, quality, and operational excellence, leading financial performance, and strengthening relationships with various stakeholders in the construction and infrastructure market. Applicants for the Vice President of Construction position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' leadership experience in heavy civil, electrical infrastructure, telecommunications, utility, or underground construction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading multiple large-scale infrastructure projects, executive-level experience in operations, project management, and field teams, and strong financial acumen. Existing relationships within the Utah construction and infrastructure market are highly preferred. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field is also preferred. The Vice President of Construction will be expected to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards, and to partner with executive leadership to drive long-term company growth and profitability.
